Insurance Coverage
If you plan to use insurance for your appointments, we will verify your coverage through Headway. Your insurance may cover part or all of the cost, depending on your plan. You may still be responsible for copays, deductibles, or coinsurance, depending on your insurance policy
In-network Care
If we are in-network with your insurance, Headway will handle the billing directly with your insurance provider. You may still need to pay any copays, deductibles, or other out-of-pocket costs, but Headway will take care of the process for you.
Out-of-network Care
If we are out-of-network with your insurance provider, you will need to pay the full cost of the session upfront (based on our pricing). We will then provide a superbill, which you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. The reimbursement will depend on your plan’s out-of-network benefits.
Self-Pay / Out-of-Pocket Payment Options
If you prefer to pay for services out of pocket, we offer the following options

What to Expect for Out-of-Network Care
If we are out-of-network with your insurance
Pay upfront for the full cost of the session (as listed in the pricing section).
Receive a superbill after your session. This will be provided with a detailed invoice for you to submit to your insurance company.
Submit the superbill to your insurance company for reimbursement. The amount reimbursed depends on your plan’s out-of-network coverage.
You may be responsible for any remaining balance not reimbursed by your insurance
